Astuha is an association established by parents of mental disabled children on 7 April 2000, in Jeddayel village, caza Jbeil Byblos - Lebanon.

Geographic position: north of mouhafazat (department) of Mount Lebanon.

House of Christian is a small center created to receive and serve children with cerebral palsy or retard mental disorder.

This project is organized and run mainly, by mothers of the children served, in collaboration of many specialized doctors and workers: psychiatric and neurologist,
psychologist guide and follow up the children.

Mrs. Sandra Azar, psychologist, takes care about the psychological follow up.
Mrs Nataly Akl as the Orthophonist of the center.
Mrs Saideh Saliba takes care about educational program: occupational therapies , daily care, follow up to help in developing the ability of the children.

Two projects include:

- Planting and growing flowers and vegetable.

- Manuel workshop, as craft and threading.

As an independent non-profit developed, ASTUHA was supported, at beginning, with the assistance of Dr Agnes Wakim Dagher and the financial support of the Canadian funds for development. The Norwegian people helps once our association. We would like as well to thank the international partners in mission (IPM) for their annual help since 2002 and the Belgium Christian mutuality since 2005.

The center of Christian’s House – ASTUHA has served from 2002 till now many children and stills want to help any child or adult knocking on his door.
